History
Construction and renovations have been in the family for many years. William Lichtenberg began doing building remodeling around the Cincinnati area in the early 1900's. After William's death , during the depression years of the 30's when there was very little work to be found locally, his sons Arthur and Gus Lichtenberg led their company, William Lichtenberg & Sons, around the country renovating U.S. Post Office buildings. In the 1950's Wm. Lichtenberg & Sons Construction began general contracting commercial and industrial buildings. In 1969, Michael Lichtenberg joined the family business with his father Arthur, after graduating from Ohio University. In 1978 Michael Lichtenberg & Sons Construction was started. In 1999 Douglas Lichtenberg joined his father after graduating from Clemson University with a degree in construction science and management.
